Nationally known as “The Chess Detective” in School mates and Chess Life magazines and the Colorado Chess columnist for the Rocky Mountain News, National Master Todd Bardwick combines his unique writing style and years of experience as a full-time chess teacher and engineer together in this textbook for teachers to incorporate chess into a standards-based math curriculum for elementary school children.  Todd runs the Chess Academy of Denver and is the organizer of the Rock Mountain Chess Camp, one of the largest and oldest chess camps for children.
