Norwood House Press is a new publisher that was developed to serve the needs of the librarian.  They have 2 series in their first season with Team Spirit that is authored by Mark Stewart who has authored over 100 sports books.  The second series is Beginning to Read by Margaret Hillert who has written over 80 books for young readers.  Listed below is a short description of each series:

• Beginning To Read - this series has been the gold standard for early readers for over 40 years.  These books have brilliant illustrations that help support the simple text.  There are currently 17 books in this collection of beginning readers.
• Team Spirit - is a series of books on Sports teams that  includes baseball, basketball and football teams.  This series focuses on the history, great victories, and memorable personalities, the books have an enduring quality that will not go out of date quickly.  The text is enhanced with plenty of full color photographs  as well as reproductions of vintage trading cards and team memorabilia.
